Contraindications

EECP/ECP therapy should not be used for the treatment of patients with:

• Arrhythmias that interfere with machine triggering,

• Bleeding diathesis,

• Active thrombophlebitis,

• Severe lower extremity vaso-occlusive disease,

• Presence of a documented aortic aneurysm requiring surgical repair,

• Pregnancy.
